Jimmy’s Grill opened in December of 1997. We started with the idea of having an establishment that was the neighborhood place. Join us for a thirst quenching drink, to bask in the sun and to enjoy the company of friends and family. Bring the whole gang for some great old fashioned home grilling.

Meet Our Chef

It was only 4 years ago when Travis Rodriguez moved from Tampa Florida to Naperville. What started out as a one month trip to help out an Orlando based restaurant turned into a permanent move for him. When people asked him why would he move from the sunshine to the cold winters his answer was always the same “just needed a change of scenery.”

This likeable, laid back Florida boy with his loud funky laugh began his love for food at a young age helping his mother with her cake business. Through the years his jobs in the food industry changed, hitting all the different positions that he could. After meeting with the head of food and beverage for Walt Disney World, he decided on continuing his education at Johnson & Wales University in Miami Florida graduating at the top of his class.
